After arriving at the MTC we got in line to receive our packet and our name tags.
I guess we're on our way.
We loved being dropped off by Will and Val and their cute boys, Z and Sebs.
What fun it was to listen to "God Be With You Till We Meet Again" blaring from his car.
It was such a tender moment hugging everyone and saying goodbye...
... till we meet again...
In our first meeting were asked to introduce themselves: where they were from,
a little about themselves and what there assignment was. 130 Senior Missionaries -
assigned to the six inhabited continents. And the assignments were so diverse....
Historical sites, construction missions, MLS (Member/Leader Support), Medical, (Dave was the only Mental Health Adviser in the group), Temple missionaries, and so many more. The wealth of knowledge and experience in that group was mind boggling.
We felt so blessed to be a part of the Lord's Army taking the Gospel message to all the world.
Elder Perry picked up these nifty little key fobs for us to get around. We are so cool.
As we were looking for a place to sit at lunch, the thought went through my mind, "who from our ward would be here now..." It wasn't 30 seconds later that we heard, "Hello there!"
Then we looked over and saw Hermana Lamoreaux smiling up at us.
She was just days away from leaving for Paraguay.
