Limburg

Limburg was a lovely little town with a lively market going on the day we visited. Both of us were able to score an authentic German sweater for 70% off. Now that's a good day!

I was drawn to this poster in the square where Mark 9:24 is quoted from the New Testament:
Lord, I believe; help mine unbelief.
You just never know where you will find the word of God.

We weren't too sure what to make of these odd sculptures on the side of this building.

The Seven Deadly Sins are displayed on the left side of this house:
pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony, and sloth.

The cathedral of the Catholic Diocese of Limburg.

This bridge affords great views of the river and the cathedral.

We enjoyed this town so much that we brought John and Shauna Richards who arrived the end of October. Here are a few pictures from our November 5th trip after they finished their 10 days of quarantine. They came by way of the UK where they had to quarantine for 16 days before Germany would allow them to enter the country. He is an Area Medical Advisor and we have been the couple to help them get acclimated to the area. It's been great getting new couples here in Frankfurt.
