The Old Bridge.
It's official name is the Karl Theodor Bridge, constructed in 1788.
Sadly, there have been many floods over the years.
This close-up shot shows how high the water rose in each flood.
It's so hard to capture the beauty of these stained glass windows.
The traditional stained glass windows is in stark contrast to the more modern windows below.
Lest We Never Forget.
This display was very moving as we read the stories of each person depicted here from WW2.
Just a small sampling of the many Jews, Gypsies and others who were hunted down and many were taken to concentration camps. Some were lucky enough to be hidden by good people at the risk of their own lives. Each story of these survivors was different, but very similar.
