We were so excited for Will and Val and the boys to finally arrive. They made the 12-hour drive from London. Over the hills and through the woods to grandmother's house we go ... but it was across the English Channel on a ferry.
As you can see, these two were happy to see each other!

Sebastian wanted to help Dave get some work done right off the bat.
Will put together an awesome package for Dave's birthday with all sorts of English goodies.
The next morning we headed to Rüdesheim and the Ring Tour.
We took the tram in Rüdesheim and then walked to the Niederwald monument. A walk through the woods took us to a chairlift down to ____________________and then we caught a ferry back to Rüdesheim. And that's the Ring Tour!
The Niederwald Monument is pretty impressive ... and the view across the river into the valley below.
Sebs was tired of walking!

Rüdesheim was a lot of fun and then we took off for downtown Frankfurt on the train for dinner and a walk-around.
